THE GYM IS HOSTILE TO PHONES

Chalk. Sweat. Ninety seconds of rest.
Your phone answers none of it.

Between sets you have twelve questions and a locked screen. TEMPO answers all of them in one glance, without a hand leaving the bar.

Set three or four?? 225 or 235?? How long was that rest?! Was that rep fast?? Unlock with chalk on! Screen timed out! 45 + 45 a side?? Did I log that?! Which lift is next?? PR or not??

Between sets. It rides flat steel: a stack, a rack upright, a plate.
  • A magnet shoe rides a machine stack or a rack upright — no straps, no clamps.
  • Every rep's bar speed and range of motion, computed on the device itself.
  • Offline-first: reps buffer on the ANVIL and upload themselves when the gym's wifi feels like existing.
  • Assistive only — it proposes the reps; your tap commits the set.

WANT TO KNOW MORE?

Straight answers.

Do I need a subscription?

No. TEMPO is free. Plans, history and exports all work with no account at all; an account only adds sync across your devices. TEMPO COACH is separate and optional.

Which glasses does it run on?

Even Realities G2. TEMPO draws eleven pages on the glass, and one click on the temple logs the set. No phone in your hand, no typing.

Android or iOS?

Android now, in beta. iOS soon. The phone authors the plan; the glasses execute it; both stay in step.

Does the ANVIL clamp to a barbell?

The ANVIL is in development. It's built for flat steel first: a stack, a rack upright, a plate. A barbell saddle is in print now, and we'll say it holds the day we've measured that it holds, not before.

What if the gym has no signal?

Then nothing changes. Every set commits on the device and syncs when the world comes back. Offline-first, always.

Who owns my training data?

You do, as a file. Export a year or everything from the app; imports merge and never overwrite. No account required to do any of it.
